KNYSNA GOLF CLUB FACILITIES
Ownership
The Knysna Golf Club is a members' club with approximately 1,000 current members. It is staffed by a full-time dedicated management team under the oversight of an elected executive committee. Whilst the majority of members are local residents, a large number hail from all parts of the globe.
Practice Facilities
Prior to a round of golf, players are able to practice on a large putting and chipping green as well as a short game practice range (100m). A full-length driving range is situated nearby and enquiries may be made through the club.
Equipment Hire
Golf clubs, pull trolleys and golf cars are all available for hire, although bookings are essential, particularly in season. A team of dedicated and experienced caddies is available to assist the visitor and provide expert advice as you navigate what can be a tricky golfing experience. Follow this link for rates.
Catering
A newly renovated clubhouse comprises a luxurious bar and lounge with 4 widescreen satellite television screens. A large deck with braai (barbeque) facilities overlooks the 9th green and provides a good view of this wonderful golf course's signature hole. The Halfway House serves light meals, snacks and drinks at affordable prices. The Knysna Golf Club is able to cater for large groups and frequently hosts business and social functions.
